‘Workplace 2040’ with Dr Alan Montague
The workplace is set to experience significant change over the next three decades. Improvements in personal technology, increased connectivity to global markets and the decentralisation of the physical work space will create a more dynamic and agile workforce.
What role does human resource management play in solving workplace challenges leading into 2040? Which new professions will emerge over this time, and how will HR departments prepare their employees for these changes? Furthermore, what will employment law look like in 2040 and how will it affect the way in which the workforce operates?
As part of an ongoing series, RMIT Online will host its first one-hour webinar, exploring the aforementioned questions as well as the importance of connecting theory and practice to be prepared for the future evolution of HRM.
