You’ll receive the same qualification as you would studying on campus.

Benefits of online study
Convenience and flexibility

Online study at RMIT is flexible, convenient and you can work on any device at any time. The content is structured into time-based blocks so you can manage your studies to fit around your work–life commitments.

Accelerated pathway

You can fast-track your way to the qualification you need while you continue working. RMIT offers six seven-week study periods a year, meaning you can complete a graduate certificate in eight months, a graduate diploma in 16 months or a masters degree in two years.

Intensive and applied learning

Your learning is intensive and immediately applicable to your career. You can enrol in any of the six intakes a year, studying one course at a time. This allows you to immerse yourself in that subject area and be the best you can be.

Support and guidance

Our expert student support service will be with you every step of the way. Your personal study advisor will give you one-on-one guidance, support and motivation throughout your study from first contact to graduation day. Read more about the student support advisor role.

High academic standards, no exams

While you won’t have formalised on-campus exams, all RMIT postgraduate programs include rigorous assessments in the form of case studies, reports, online discussion, interaction and engagement. This ensures that all learning is valuable and applicable to your work immediately.

Industry connected

With renowned academics and industry focused learning you’ll learn practical skills that you can apply as soon as you start studying.
