RMIT Student onboarding-modules

Starting at RMIT is an important and exciting moment and we're committed to providing you with the information, support and resources you need to succeed from day one.

We aim to create a safe place for students and staff, where everyone feels included, respected, and supported. That’s why students commencing their studies at RMIT starting in 2024 are required to complete a mandatory suite of free, self-paced online modules as part of their onboarding experience. Learn more here.

  • Academic Integrity Awareness (Approximately 60 - 90 mins)
  • Sex and Consent (Approximately 30 - 45 mins)
  • Students who don't complete the module in their first TP will be blocked from enrolling into their second course.
  • Students may request exemptions from Sex and Consent (e.g. a student who experienced trauma applied for exemption). This is managed through Safer Community (submit referral).
