Finish your online Graduate Certificate of Commerce in just eight months, thanks to our innovative intensive learning model. Offering six intakes per year, our study periods run for seven weeks each, focusing on one course at a time for fast-tracked, consolidated learning. Postgraduate level qualification
Our Graduate Certificate of Commerce is an Australian Qualification Level 8 postgraduate degree and a pathway to the Master of Commerce.
No on-campus obligations
While you will have online assessments, the Graduate Certificate of Commerce delivers a convenient online program without the requirement for on-campus attendance and commitments. All lecture material and content is delivered direct to you, wherever you are.
English language requirements

From day one until you graduate, you’ll also benefit from the personalised support of our study concierge, providing you with guidance if and when you need it, from assessment due dates to topic organisation.
International students are required to provide current evidence of English language proficiency for admission to RMIT University.
You can provide your results from one of these three options:
- an accepted English language proficiency test
- an accepted English language provider, or
- a recognised Australian or international qualification.
English language proficiency tests minimum scores:
- Academic IELTS (minimum scores) overall band of 6.5 with no individual band below 6.0
- TOEFL (Paper-based): minimum score of 580 (with a Test of Written English (TWE) score of 4.5)
- TOEFL (Internet-based): minimum score of 92 with a minimum of 20 in each section
- Cambridge English (Advanced CAE): CAE Grade B
- Pearson: Minimum score of 58 (no communication band less than 50).

Guiding the development of the College of Business is an Industry Advisory Board of high-profile executives, chaired by Gerhard Vorster, Chief Strategy Officer (former), Deloitte. The Board creates a strategic bridge between the latest in technology and design, thinking and business.
Upon graduation from the Graduate Certificate, you may work in a variety of fields like management, finance, marketing, logistics and supply chain, business IT, hospitality, education and health sectors, depending on the courses or specialist sequence you select. You are also encouraged to progress into the Master of Commerce.
